About us

Seeds, Soup and Sarnies is helping people across the UK to set up their own community planting, growing, cooking, sharing and eating groups.

Whether you’re a parent, are involved in a social enterprise or charity, or teach in a school, you’ll find bags of ideas here which we’ve put together from our experience providing family learning courses in Cornwall and Middlesbrough.

Delivered in two areas of the country where traditional industry has been in decline, the practical Big Lottery-funded project has seen over 180 families improve their plant growing skills and develop their confidence.

The courses, day trips and celebration events have also led to more positive intergenerational and social interaction within the two communities.

The Seeds, Soups and Sarnies partners include the Eden Project, Cornwall Council, Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change and ContinYou.
